Showing at Hastings Contemporary, The Open: Odyssey, 28 March – 31 May 2026
Peace and Moonlight brings language into ceramic form as a slow, physical encounter. Hand-built letters are fixed onto a glazed tile, allowing the phrase to function as both poem and object. The work invites a quiet, contemplative reading, where meaning emerges through material weight, surface, and spacing. Subtle variations in form and glaze emphasise the handmade process, situating the text between declaration and meditation.
